A beautiful oven baked chicken recipe

1 chicken, cut into pieces, either with or without skin on
6 tablespoons butter
2 cups breadcrumbs
¾ cup parmesan cheese, grated
1+ ½ teaspoons salt
¼ cup parsley (fresh is best), chopped
1/8 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon marjoram
½ teaspoon garlic salt

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius (or approx 350 degrees F).
Melt two-thirds of the butter.
In a shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan and seasonings.
With each chicken piece, dip it in the butter, then into the breadcrumbs.
Make sure each piece of chicken is well-coated in the breadcrumb mixture.
Lightly grease a shallow roasting pan.
Arrange the breadcrumbed chicken on the bottom of the roasting pan, taking care not to overlap the pieces.
Use the remainder of the butter to put a little blob on each piece of chicken - or, if you're feeling the need to be a bit healthier - spray a little cooking spray over all the chicken pieces.
Bake - uncovered - for 1 hour.
